Our Vision

Transformations Institute for Leadership Training Inc (TILT) is a California non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose purpose is to provide loving, stable homes, behavioral health services, and innovative life preparation for at-risk youth, starting with boys 12 to 21 years old. 

The youths, referred to us by the Department of Social Services, the juvenile court system, other agencies, and private placements, have histories that may include abuse, neglect or abandonment, gang involvement, addiction, homelessness, parental loss, or other traumatic experiences. Without extensive intervention and support, most of these youths will not develop the ability to successfully integrate into productive adulthood.

By intensely concentrating on five main areas—(1) Education, (2) Long-term Mentoring, Leadership and Entrepreneurial Training, (3) Life Skills and Vocational Training, (4) Character Development and Behavioral Health, and (5) Restorative Residential Environments—TILT aims to take the at-risk kids of our society and transform them into leaders in the areas of business, politics, education, family, religion, arts, entertainment, and media. We provide mentoring and leadership training, counseling, intensive educational support, life skills and job training, entrepreneurial training,  physical fitness training, and love and acceptance in a structured home environment. 

TILT’s ultimate goal is to provide its youth with the resources and support necessary for a successful transition into productive, independent living.
